Hi, I'm Liam, the maker behind HoldOn2.
I started making wooden climbing holds in 2025 after struggling to find the kind of holds I wanted for my own board. What began as a way to create unique holds for myself quickly grew into HoldOn2.
Every hold is shaped, sanded and finished by hand in my workshop using hardwoods chosen for their strength, durability and character. I work with a variety of timbers, from local hardwoods to exotic species from around the world, each bringing its own colour, grain and feel to the finished hold.
As a passionate climber with a dedicated home board, I make holds to the same standard that I would expect from those on my own wall. Every design is created with performance, durability and quality in mind.
Rather than being mass-produced, every hold is made by hand from start to finish.
Alongside running HoldOn2, I'm studying bench joinery. The skills I learn through woodworking influence every stage of the process, from material selection to shaping and finishing.
Everything you see on this website is made by me from start to finish.
